HOW TO SUBMIT YOURSELF FOR CONSIDERATION
Q6 Model & Artist Management, founded in 1989, is a professional agency representing models, actors, fashion stylists and hair and makeup artists. We are not a school, nor do we charge any up-front fees to represent talent. The only way we make money is from the work we generate for our talent.To submit yourself for consideration, you can either send photos, headshots or resumes by mail. Our mailing address is: Q6 Model & Artist Management Portland, OR 97214 Attn: Justin You may also submit photos by e-mail (jpeg format, please) to the following addresses: Justin Habel Jonny Shultz Aaron Fitzgerald Prospective teen and adult models may also attend our open call on the first Thursday of each month, between 3:30-5pm. Please note that children and actors should NOT attend open call. Please submit by mail or e-mail ONLY! For MODELS, it is preferable for us to receive simple, straightforward snapshots with no make-up on. We like to see head- shots, profiles and full body shots. No baggy clothes, as we need to see what kind of shape you are in. Swimsuits or shorts are good. Men, please send at least one shot in strictly shorts. If you have other pictures already and don't have the ability to send us the above type of pictures, please send them anyway. Any submissions, whether by e-mail or regular mail, should include the following: Women- height, weight, bust, waist and hip measurements, dress size, shoe size, hair color and eye color. Please include your age as well. Men- height, weight, jacket size, neck and sleeve measurements, waist size, inseam and shoe size. Age as well. Also include your phone number so we can reach you if interested. If you are under 18, please include the name of at least one parent so we may talk with them if you are in school during the day. If you want your pictures back, if sent by regular mail, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that we may return them. We will not return pictures sent to us if this is not done. We prefer you send pictures you do not want back, but we will return them if you include the envelope and postage in your submission. Please do not send huge submissions- we will know if we are interested with very little material. We will call you back only if we are interested, or have clarification questions. Thank you for your interest in Q6, and we hope to receive your pictures soon! MODEL REQUIREMENTS Women- 5'7"- 5'11". Plus size- size 12-20. Men- 5'10- 6'2" It is a huge plus if you have an athletic background, but not required. We have numerous clients that are athletic apparel companies (Nike, Adidas America, Columbia Sportswear, R.E. I., etc…), so we are very interested in athletic, outdoors oriented models. If you have an advanced degree of skill in snowboarding, windsurfing, hiking, backpacking, rafting, kayaking, mountain-biking or rock-climbing, we want to know about you. If you are younger, with the potential to grow, and you are a little out of our height requirement range, please feel free to submit pictures by e-mail or by mail. You still may grow, and if we feel there is potential, we want to know about you. You never know! |
